Last year, we launched our first Adopt A Family Christmas fundraiser, and the response was overwhelming. In just three weeks, we received over $4,000 in donations and were able to provide gifts for 16 families and Christmas dinners for 2 additional families. We’re incredibly grateful for the support that made that possible.

This year, our goal is to help even more families.

How Our Program Works

Families submit their stories along with a holiday wish list from Amazon or Walmart. To keep the process fair and focused on children, we do ask that families do not request monetary donations, gift cards, bill payments, or similar items. Our priority is supporting families with children, though if funds allow, we will assist single adults and couples afterward.

Last year, we experimented with pairing donors directly with families, but unfortunately, that approach did not work well. This year, we will personally fulfill wish list items ourselves, using donated funds, and ship the items directly to each family’s home. Many families shared heartfelt photos and messages last year, and it was incredibly meaningful to see the impact.

What to Expect This Year

We currently have around 90 families who have reached out for assistance.

Donations from other followers can be made through Cash App or Venmo, and we maintain full records of all transactions.

While we may not be able to fulfill every item on every list, we do our best to make Christmas morning brighter for each family.
