Additional ADA Restroom for Good People Cafe

We are in the final stages of renovation for the space that will be the new Good People Cafe in Grain Valley. Good People Cafe will seek to intentionally employ people from our local disability community, provide a safe space for local youth to gather, a place for our community to meet AND offer an alternative to "traditional" worship. We are looking at all renovations with the goal of this space being fully accessible to anyone that walks OR rolls though our doors. Did you know that finding a restroom in public that has changing facilities for anyone over 50lbs can be harder than finding a needle in a haystack?? Our hope is that prior to opening OR training any of our new employees, we will have at least one restroom with a full size changing station. Why are full size changing tables important? We are so excited to be this close! Job applications are out and the kitchen is almost finished! We can't wait for the community that has supported us so well to finally come through the doors!
