Our organisation offers housing and a day program for addicts seeking recovery. We are dependent on donations and the revenue generated from the coffee shop, Charlie's.

We are in the process of getting assistance from the council for the housing aspect of our organisation. However, this taking a long time so we are having to cover this cost.

The project to date has been fully self-funded to get us to where we are today but this will not be sustainable for the long term.

If you want to make a difference in our city by supporting the project that is dedicated to helping addicts get clean and learn the skills and tools to remain abstinent, re-entering society is ready to succeed! Then please donate whatever you can, no donation is too small. If you can't do this then please come into the coffee and support us that way, as all proceeds go back into the project!

There is a belief within society that addiction issues are solely down to the substances that people take, but we need to raise awareness that to offer a long-term approach to battling addiction then we need to address the reasons why we take them in the first place. This project works with individuals to tackle their pasts and uses that trauma to shape a more positive future away from the shackles of active addiction.

A lot of the focus tends to be on the addict, as a project we understand the effect addiction has on those around them. We run a weekly family support group which aims to support those who have watched a loved one struggle weith addiction.

Addiction is a social and community issue and we have to place more emphasis on a long-term plan rather then the short-term approach we have seen before.

We are so blessed to see the transformation in the lads - who come in broken and we have the privilege to watch the light come back in their eyes. We get to watch family relationships heal, children get their parents back and courage and hope increase.
