On April 27th, I am running my first ever marathon. I am running the marathon in aid of AFASIC, a charity that transforms the lives of children who struggle with verbal communication.

AFASIC is a charity very close to mine and my families hearts. As many of you will know, my brother Matthew suffers with learning difficulties, and was non-verbal until 8 years old. Luckily, with the help of speech therapy and support from AFASIC, Matthew was able to start speaking, and in present day you would never think there was a delay.

There are many children that face verbal challenges that the rest of us take for granted. Donations to AFASIC will provide these children with the support, resources, and opportunities that they deserve.
