Adam's London Marathon 2023 for Maggie's

I have been given a very special opportunity to take part in the 2023 London Marathon and raise money on behalf of Maggie's Centres. Please help me reach my goal of raising £3,000 for such an amazing organisation which offers free cancer care centres that provide professional support, bringing people together in a calm, friendly, uplifting space.

I was very keen this year to push myself to achieve something I have never done before. I do not for a moment declare myself as a runner, but I am a very determined and driven person and will commit and dedicate myself to a training program to push my body and run 26.2 miles. Each year I am determined to achieve a new goal and raise money for a good cause. last year I completed the Three Peaks Challenge along with my mate and we achieved our goal in under 23hrs. This year I aim to run 4 times a week and have dedicated myself to a 16-week intense program which will finally see me run and complete the London Marathon in April. I aim to show others that with dedication and determination, you can achieve any goal.

I am a family man, with 3 beautiful children who mean the world to me - I have experienced what cancer can do to those close to me and how it's affected the lives of people I know. At Maggie's, they offer the best possible support free to anyone with cancer and their families who walk through their doors. You'll find one of their centres alongside NHS hospitals and they can provide support online.
