Thank you everyone for your support over the past 24 hours with Adam and what he achieved this year at boomtown.

As his protective younger (but older) sister, I spend a lot of my time worrying about adam who has lived with Autism

and ADHD his whole life.

This year, when Adam told me he was boomtowning naturally i was worried. As a frequent boomtown veteran myself, to hear my brother was solo-ing the one year i couldn’t make it i panicked as to who he could lean on if he felt alone or was in trouble.

The morning he got there i was calling him and bossing him about (as a sister would) telling him where to camp and what to do. He set up camp and i still felt on edge… and then he told me he had made friends and found people to camp with. Normally you’d feel relief… but i was still worried for him as an autistic boy as he often gets the mickey taken out of him… and quite often people take advantage of him with his condition and his kindness.

I am overwhelmed to see how amazing the friends he has made are and how he was taken in and supported all weekend… and further overwhelmed to see the support he has received from my dad’s post. Adam is the most wonderful, pure hearted boy and anyone who gets to be in the presence of him is incredibly lucky. He pushes through and has tried so hard in life despite his condition and the cards he has been dealt… and to see him get the visibility he deserves is magical.

It was suggested we set up a to support him and his new friends next year of boomtown, as it took adam all year last year to save and prepare for boom2026.

Hopefully this situation can boost adam’s confidence and visibility to live out his DJ dreams, and roll on boomtown 2027 where he can get groovy and skanky again
