Please help support Adams family

Hi, we are reaching out for support for an incredibly deserving family to help with funeral expenses and ongoing living expenses so they can find the space to grieve the loss of their beloved partner and father, Adam Bridges, without any added pressures.

Adam was diagnosed with stage four Bowel Cancer in January 2020. Although Adams's diagnosis was terminal, he fought with courage and determination every day over four years for more time to watch his beautiful family grow. Adam sadly lost his battle on January 2, 2024.

Sadly, this is not the first tragedy this family has endured, losing Layla’s first Dad and Belinda's long-time partner to chronic illness when Layla was just shy of her second birthday. Adam, a friend of Liam’s, was a huge support to Belinda and Layla in the months after Liam passed, and what was a beautiful friendship later turned into an enduring love. Emmie and then Alfie were born, and their family was complete.

To know Adam was to love him. Adam was the epitome of kindness, generosity, and warmth. He was the most present and attentive partner and father. His stories, humour and zest for life were contagious. These qualities his wonderful family all share. You would be hard-pressed to meet a more humble and inclusive family.

While Adam fought his battle with bowel cancer, both he and Belinda were unable to work, and so the hardship of now trying to give him the send-off he truly deserves is burdening this young family. Please help us ease that burden and, hopefully, the living expenses while we allow them the space to grieve.
