On Wednesday October 13, 2021 a fatal car crash took the life of Adam Christopher Nouwen, age 38, while on his way to work.
An adoring husband to Kelly [Deprey] Nouwen, Survived by his toddler aged children Mya 2, and Gemma Nouwen 3 and young adults Savannah, Dakota and Anthony and his best “fur” friend Golden Lab Carly.
His family and friends are finding comfort in Adam’s relentless bravery. His livelihood was painting and inspecting some of our nation’s tallest bridges. His office was walking the rails hundreds of feet above the water below. All to keep his fellow American’s safe while driving on our nation’s roadways.
Adam planned accordingly to meet his family’s needs should “the worst” ever happen and his family is so proud and grateful for those efforts. This campaign simply provides an additional avenue for others to contribute monetarily, either publicly or anonymously and can find this a way to directly comfort the family during this difficult time and for the long road ahead.
This post serves as a living memorial to raise awareness on what it means to stay safe on the roads. To remind everyone of the true dangers we all face on our roadways daily. Just as Adam worked tirelessly every day on tall bridges to keep us safe, we should in turn work to keep each other as safe as possible on the road through safe driving practices.
Adam is our hero; our angel and we are all by his side forever. We love you Adam and we are with you always.
