Adam Mills
I am running for Calhoun County Commissioner because I believe our county government should be proactive, transparent, and focused on long-term sustainability. Calhoun County deserves leadership that treats public resources with care, improves communication with residents, and creates conditions that allow our community to grow safely and responsibly.
My background in technology, infrastructure, and community service has shown me how better organization, clearer communication, and smarter use of assets can directly improve the quality of life for residents. Long before building our ranch, I had developed extensive hands-on knowledge of solar energy systems and power storage. My wife and I later put those principles into practice when we purchased 40 acres of undeveloped land and built a small, self-sustaining ranch from the ground up. Over time, we raised cattle, pigs, sheep, chickens, and horses, and developed the property into a fully functional off-grid operation powered by a solar-based micro power system with generator backup.
In addition, I have spent much of my career helping businesses of all sizes establish operational foundations—identifying suitable locations, training staff, and developing the policies and procedures necessary for effective day-to-day operations. I am committed to bringing these practical, real-world experiences and principles into county government to serve the residents of Calhoun County with foresight, responsibility, and accountability.
