Adam Bair Family - Tragic Travels...

Update: Melissa got a tip from social media on Thanksgiving that led them to their stolen SUV and U-haul. They've had their valuables stolen but are relieved to have recovered sentimental items and things belonging to their children. Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to share and offer their sympathies. They would be grateful for any support to replace what has been stolen from them and to fix the damage caused to their SUV.

A word from Adam and Melissa: After having this happen to them, they feel very strongly about getting the word out about how frequently this happens to people. Please protect yourself and your family when renting a moving truck or trailer. Make sure you've got proper insurance to protect your moving vehicle, personal vehicle and belongings if stolen. Please do your research, but some suggestions would be to get a GPS tracker and tire boot, disconnect the battery, pull out the starter fuse, and get a steering wheel lock.

My brother- Adam and his wife Melissa moved their family of 8 (6 kids) from Maine to Las Vegas. They arrived in Las Vegas late Sunday night. Tired from their journey across the country, they waited to unload the U-Haul, but the following day they discovered the U-Haul truck, their SUV and all of their possessions - gone - stolen...

Everyone is grateful the family is safe, but Adam and Melissa are left to pick up the pieces and figure out what to do next. All that remains from the theft is their small car (which doesn't fit their family), clothes and blankets. They are starting over. Please donate to help them get back on their feet if you can.
