This week was shocking and hard to hear and bear for the Bhutanese community of greater Columbus as one of the youths late Budhi Majhi was stabbed to death on 9/25/ 23 in around 3:30 am last Sunday. Lt Budhi Majhi was born at Majhi gau in Bhutan on 08/07/1987 from his mother Dhan Maya Majhi and father Suk Majhi. He was survived with his son Lionel and 4 siblings. Two brothers and two sisters. Majhi family lived in Beldangi 1 camp for 20 years. They were resettled in Atlanta GA from 2012 . After spending some years in Atlanta Georgia , they moved to Columbus seeing better opportunities and dreaming big for the family but the dream shattered and came to an end in the night of 09/25/2023. on the loss of young son who was a big support in the family.
