My name is Mussie Wossenseged, and I serve as the USA Director for Act of Kindness Ethiopia with a focus on diaspora affairs and projects. Supported by Addis Tesfu our Ethiopia Director for Act of kindness Ethiopia, and our board.

We are launching a historic Diaspora Homecoming Initiative in January 2027, bringing together medical professionals, business leaders, entrepreneurs, influencers, students, and skilled individuals from around the world to create lasting impact in Ethiopia. We plan to reach over 1000 unprivileged people in the city of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia during the Diaspora Homecoming January 2027, providing them with resources like a hot meal, non-perishable items, toiletries, connecting them with our teams and other organizations to get them off of the street, sheltering for women and children, and more.

Act of Kindness Ethiopia is a faith-based nonprofit organization founded on integrity, love, and hope. For years, we have supported vulnerable children, widows, families, the elderly, and those experiencing homelessness through educational assistance, medical support, food programs, clothing distribution, shelter assistance, and community outreach.

Today, the need remains urgent. Children & Families lack basic supplies and educational opportunities. Widows struggle to access medical care. Families face difficult choices between food and shelter. Many young people lack the resources and mentorship needed to build a brighter future.

We believe the diaspora can help change this reality.

Our goal is to raise $100,000 to launch a movement that combines financial support, professional expertise, mentorship, and community service. This initiative will create sustainable impact through annual diaspora service projects, quarterly sector-led

programs, and ongoing support for those most in need.
