Activate Timberlake's Fire Siren Now
Donation protected
I love Timberlake Ranch. All of us love Timberlake Ranch. We have an opportunity to help protect the residents and visitors – family and friends – at Timberlake Ranch by contributing enough dollars to finalize the fire siren project that was started by past members of the Timberlake Volunteers.
We need $3,000.00 more to provide enough funding to install the pole - graciously donated by Continental Divide Electric Company - and to establish electric service to the siren purchased by our past volunteer group. Until we can do that, the siren will have to sit – unused – on the floor of the Timberlake Fire Department.
We can get it up and running sooner if we can fund it. You see and hear every day of the tragic consequences of timberland fire. We have our “Ready, Set, Go” instructions in place already but we have no way to notify every landowner that is at Timberlake. Yes, there’s Facebook but who sits in front of a computer all day just watching Facebook? Yes, there are neighbors that can call neighbors, but not everyone has phone service. Yes, there are “Rosie Alerts” but who reads email 24 hours a day? A fire siren to alert Timberlake residents and visitors of imminent danger can be lifesaving.
Take a moment now to help us get the funds together to get this siren active now … not a week from now, not a month from now, not a year from now. NOW!! Every dollar helps us reach our goal of $3,000. Share with your loved ones and friends. They come and enjoy our Timberlake, too!
Thank you!
