[Action Request]Keep Rihana and her Babies at Home

Any funds exceeding $2,500 will go directly to helping Rihana with groceries, medical bills and the many additional expenses needed to take care of her two babies.
Rihana and her young children (Maliek 16-month, and, Jawaria 4-month-old) are facing eviction and homelessness after the violent deportation of her husband, their family's primary breadwinner.
Taha Abdulahi was the primary earner of the household, working as a team lead at GEOTECK Services when he was detained and deported by ICE to Somali because of his citizenship status.
On August 24, 2018, instead of celebrating after giving birth via C-Section, Rihana, with no time to heal, found work at a local butcher shop and worked relentlessly to provide for her babies.
Due to the lack of support and proper rest time after giving birth, her C-Section got infected, and she was forced to stay home while she healed.
For these reasons, she is currently two months behind on rent and faces eviction and homelessness with her children if she does not come up with funds by January 5, 2019.
Please help Rihana -and her babies - avoid homelessness, stay together, stay safe and get back on their feet.

My name is Asiya Mohamed- I grew up in the twin cities. I know Rihana through our local masjid, and she was one of my students/mentees in a group I started called Sunnah Sisters at masjid Tawfiq.

The funds will go directly into Rihana account and pay off her past due rent. I have spoken to her landlord to extend her deadline, and he graciously agreed.
Any funds exceeding 2,500 will go towards medical bills and other needs for the month like groceries, public transportation for her kids to get to daycare and go to work. (she does not have a car)
