Our company was founded by a group of individuals representing different races, religions, and ethnic differences. The world of sports teaches firsthand the importance of teamwork and persistence. We will overcome institutional racism and structural injustice, emerging stronger on the other side. We are heartbroken by the murder of George Floyd and countless others and must act, and continue to act to change these social injustices.
We acknowledge the healers in our communities and that action needs to be taken place. Below is our short-term and long-term commitment tapping into our community and resources.
1) In the short-term we’ve created a fund that will support local and national organizations close to the UNKNWN family. UNKNWN will kick off this donation in hopes that others will follow. This fund will support the Know Your Rights Camp by Colin Kaepernick, Dream Defenders, and The Miami Foundation.
WHO THIS FUND HELPS:
Know Your Rights Camp is a free campaign founded by Colin Kaepernick to raise awareness on higher education, self empowerment, and instructions on how to properly interact with law enforcement in various scenarios.
Dream Defenders is a social organization teaching youth and students nonviolent civil disobedience, civic engagement, and direct action while creating sustainable networks of leaders to take action and create real change in their communities.
The Miami Foundation partners with donors to champion non-profit causes and improve local quality of life in the city of Miami.
2) We are committing to our community and non-profit organizations a free and safe space to host events by providing the use of our courtyard for future non-profit gatherings. When UNKNWN is able to safely re-open we will offer monthly community events with non-profit organizations in effort to support, strengthen, and educate our community.

3) As a brand UNKNWN will be working with a series of creatives, brands, and friends to create speciality products that benefit charities and changes we need to see in the world. All proceeds from these products will go to a selected charity chosen by our partners.
