In 2019, my wife Kayleigh and I were granted custody of our nephew Achilles O’Neill. Achilles’ biological mother was not in a position to be what Achilles needs us to be, so we decided to step up and learn to be parents.

My sister is pregnant again and Achilles’ little brother or sister is due at the end of March. We’ve been asked by my sister, the biological mother, to finally adopt Achilles and adopt his newborn sibling. We are happily taking on this responsibility and blessing.

They say “it takes a village,” so we’ve started this go fund me to ask for help from our village. When Achilles was born, we had about 9 days to prepare our lives and home for his arrival and frankly, we had no idea what we were doing. We are hoping with your help and love, we can make the transition easier this time for our family and our newest O’Neill.

Any donations are going to be used for legal fees, supplies for the baby and our day to day while we reacclimatize to our new life.
