Ace’s Cancer Fund

Donation protected
Hi my name is Kirsty and I am the lucky mother to 3 beautiful children. The youngest 10 month old baby Ace. We took him to the doctor 3 weeks ago thinking he was constipated and lactose intolerant. Only to find out that Ace has a large wilms tumour on his kidney. Fast forward to today, it has been difficult but Ace has now started chemotherapy. Surgery will follow to remove the tumour and his kidney, just before his 1st birthday. Then more chemotherapy and possibly radiotherapy. We have learnt that cancer journey is long and unpredictable. With increased pressure on his brain and a blood clotting disorder his treatment is not going to be straightforward.
We are raising money to cover the time off work we will need to take and have already taken. Towards the cost of travel to and from treatment which is an hour away. Along with making sure Ace has everything he needs when he has to stay in hospital and when he is home. We also want to create special moments for him and his siblings, to try and keep our family as close as possible. Finally we want to share it with Candlelighters. A charity that provide lifetime support for families of children with cancer and Yorkshire. They have already helped us soo much, we would be lost without them
Any donation big or small will be appreciated, thank you for reading.
