Our Mission
Solidatité soins et santé is committed to ensuring that vulnerable groups in the Kivu region, especially
pregnant women, children and the elderly, have free and reliable access to essential health care services. In a context of persistent poverty and instability, the organization bridges the gap to life-saving care for those who need it most.
Key Activities
Free Medical Consultations:
In collaboration with local clinics and hospitals, we offers free consultations carried out by qualified professionals, with a focus on at-risk populations such as pregnant women, children, and the elderly.
Testing and Medications:
Through partnerships, we provide testing and essential medications
for common and chronic diseases, including malaria, typhoid fever, asthma etc. ensuring
patients do not face financial barriers to treatment.
Maternal and Child Health:
Pregnant women receive prenatal evaluations, obstetrical ultrasounds, and ongoing care, helping to reduce complications and ensure safer pregnancies and deliveries.
What Your Donation Covers (a few examples)
25-35 USD pays for a full prenatal evaluation including an obstetrical ultrasound for a pregnant woman, detecting complications early and supporting her journey to a safe delivery.
30-40 USD enables a full consultation, diagnostic tests, and a complete course of treatment for a person suffering from either malaria or typhoid fever, diseases with high prevalence in the region.
40-50 USD can fund a doctor’s consultation, diagnostic tests, and all required medications for an asthmatic patient facing a severe episode with difficulty breathing, helping restore their
breathing and stability.
Impact
Every donation to Solidarité soins et santé directly translates into immediate care for the most
vulnerable. By removing the financial obstacles to quality health care, the organization saves
lives, improves maternal and child outcomes, supports chronic disease management, and
strengthens health systems from the ground up in Kivu
