Amazing Family in Need

Our names are Jack & Nicole Robrahn, and we are setting up a Go-Fund-Me for an amazing family in need. Brian and Mindy Kooman have been friends of ours for 30+ years. Our kids have grown up together and now our grandkids are as well. They are high school sweethearts and have been married for 28 years and are such an incredible couple. They have 4 young adult children (three of which still live with them) and two grandbabies.

In April of 2022 Mindy was diagnosed with stage 4 terminal colon cancer. This was an incredible shock to all of us. One might pause to wonder what you do after hearing such devastating news however, Mindy is a God-fearing woman and has an incredible amount of Faith. We are so proud to call her our friend.

Brian, knowing the loving husband he is, has been attending all of Mindy’s appointments not only for support for his lovely wife but also to hear ALL the details and plans moving forward. The number of appointments not only for treatments, doctors, scans, her diabetic appointments etc. are minimizing his availability to work his normal hours. There is a lot of travel involved. This clearly puts a strain on their finances however, this is the love of his life, and he wouldn’t want it any other way.

We are praying that we can get some support for this wonderful family and help take some burden off them. Not only for their bills but also car maintenance, groceries, medications, and everyday necessities while raising their beautiful family.

They are family to us, and we would do anything to help them during this challenging time. We ask for God’s grace and that this Go-Fund-Me is an answer to some of their prayers.
