Urgent Community Appeal – Abu Bakr Trust Car Park Repairs
For many years, our car parks have quietly served the community day in and day out. They are used daily by nursery parents dropping off and collecting their children, by families and staff attending our schools, by community members attending classes and events, and by worshippers coming to the masjid for daily prayers and Jumu‘ah. For many, this space is the first and last point of contact with Abu Bakr Trust each day.
Unfortunately, due to wear, weather, and heavy use, the condition of the car parks has significantly deteriorated.
There are now multiple potholes and damaged surfaces which make access difficult and, more importantly, unsafe. Parents with pushchairs struggle to move across the area, elderly worshippers find it hard to walk safely, and there is a genuine risk of trips, falls, and vehicle damage, especially during the evenings and wet weather.
This is no longer just a matter of appearance; it has become a safety concern that we cannot ignore. As a Trust, we feel a strong responsibility to ensure that all those who use our facilities, children, parents, staff, and the wider community, can do so with ease, dignity, and safety.
We are therefore making an urgent appeal to our community. If you use these car parks, benefit from them, or value the services they support, we kindly ask for your help. The repairs required are essential and time sensitive, and every contribution,no matter how small, will help us move closer to restoring the area properly and preventing further deterioration.
This is a shared space that supports education, worship, and community life. By coming together to address this need, we can ensure it remains safe and accessible for everyone who relies on it.
We sincerely ask you to donate generously and share this appeal with others.
May Allah reward every contribution, protect our children and elders, and place barakah in all efforts made for the benefit of the community. Ameen.
