Help us create a home for our growing family

Hi everyone,

My name’s Dominic, and I’m reaching out with a heartfelt request on behalf of myself, my partner Tracy, and our two young dogs, Joey and Marcelle. We’re expecting our first child—due on November 15th—and we’re doing everything we can to give our baby the secure and loving home they deserve.

Right now, things are far from ideal.

Tracy and I are currently living two hours apart, which makes this time even more stressful and emotionally difficult. Tracy lives in on-site accommodation on a goat farm, where she only recently started working before we found out she was pregnant. Because of the physical demands of the job, she’s already had to reduce her hours, and once she begins maternity leave, she’ll lose her accommodation entirely.

I’m living in a shared house that simply isn’t suitable for a baby or for us to live together as a family.

We’re trying our best, but it’s been incredibly difficult to find somewhere affordable and suitable to raise a child, especially with the upfront costs of deposits and rent. That’s why we’re reaching out for help.

We’re hoping to raise enough to secure a modest rental home—somewhere safe and stable where we can finally live together and prepare for our baby’s arrival in time. Our dream is simple:

A family-friendly space to raise our child

A garden for Joey and Marcelle to run and play, and for our baby to grow up around fresh air and nature

Ideally, a shed or small workspace where I can continue my hobby of repairing electric scooters—something I love doing and hope to turn into a small source of income over time

We’re not asking for luxury—just the chance to create a secure foundation for our little one and keep our family together.
