Im fighting to give my family a life. Please don’t leave us

This campaign is dedicated to the ongoing, direct support of the Al-Hamed family in central Gaza. Donations are used immediately for daily survival needs, and any extra funds are saved to cover travel expenses when the border reopens for evacuation.

My name is Morenda, and I’m an American citizen helping raise money for my friend Abdullah Hamed, who lives in central Gaza.

Abdullah and his family have been displaced for over 17 months due to the ongoing war. They are currently living in a single room in the city of Al-Zawaida, facing extremely difficult living conditions with limited access to food, water, and medicine.

For the past 60 days, the complete closure of the borders has caused extreme shortages of basic goods and skyrocketing prices. This has made it nearly impossible to meet daily survival needs—let alone save for future evacuation costs.

This campaign has two main goals:

1. Provide for essential daily needs such as food, water, medicine, and clothing.

2. Save any additional funds for travel costs through Hala Travel Agency when the Rafah border opens.

Funds will also help cover:

Bank transfer fees to send money from my account to Abdullah’s,

eSIM purchases so we can maintain communication.

When Abdullah and his family are finally able to leave Gaza, additional costs for temporary housing, transportation, and basic supplies in a new country will also need to be covered.

Due to GoFundMe’s restrictions, someone outside of Palestine must host the fundraiser and transfer the money. I’ve done this for Abdullah’s previous campaign and will continue to do so in this one. While this method is not the fastest, it remains one of the most reliable and sustainable ways to get direct aid to Abdullah and his family. ❤️

The war has turned our lives upside down. We lost our sense of safety, our source of income, and now live in a small room under extremely harsh conditions.
