Hi! My name is Abby Alpert, and I am a Life Scout working on my Eagle from Troop 1G in Mill Valley. My Eagle Project is painting blacktop games that help build the characteristics of good citizenship in the kindergarten play area at Edna Maguire. Due to COVID, the kindergarteners have had a lot less time face-to-face with their peers, which has created a challenge for the social-emotional growth of young children. I have designed games that require the students to interact (in a COVID safe way) with and listen to one another in order for the best outcome while building and practicing these necessary social skills.

These funds will be used to purchase my materials (paint, painter's tape, etc.) and any extra funds will be donated to Edna Maguire. My goal is to start painting in mid-March, so I will collecting funds over the next week. I really appreciate your support! Thank you!
