Abby Care Packages harnesses the power of social media to drive community support, having raised over $6197 and distributed more than 400 care packages to date.

Founded in 2020 during the first winter of the pandemic, Abby Care Packages is a non-profit initiative dedicated to assisting the unhoused populations in Abbotsford and Chilliwack. What started as a small effort to provide warm items during the harsh winter has grown into a year-round initiative thanks to the generosity of our donors.

Our mission is twofold: to provide essential care packages to those without homes and to raise awareness about the challenges faced by this vulnerable group. A key goal is to dismantle stereotypes and preconceptions about unhoused community by fostering meaningful conversations and engaging the community directly. Through these efforts, Abby Care Packages strives to offer tangible support while working to break down the barriers faced by the unhoused in our communities.
