Employees in AbbVie Sligo sites have generously supported Daffodil Day in aid of The Irish Cancer Society and Down Syndrome Ireland Sligo recent years.

The Irish Cancer Society will hold a daffodil day event on Friday 26th March 2021. It is really important that the Irish Cancer Society raises as much funds as possible throughout the year to help the lives of people battling cancer.

Coinciding with this  is World Down Syndrome awareness week, Down Syndrome Ireland is  another magnificent charity who require as much support as possible. 

Daffodil Day!

To mark the occasion we are asking all employees to wear yellow to work this Friday in aid of Daffodil day and have a “Virtual Cuppa” with your colleagues! Please get together and have a teams meeting or a socially distanced Cuppa and have a chat!

Jerusalema Dance and Down Syndrome Ireland!

Through our Culture and Vita Vie Team, individuals at AbbVie Manorhamilton road and Down Syndrome Sligo have got together and danced their hearts out completing the famous Jerusalema dance! 

So on Friday Mar 26th we would love for you to do the following!
- Wear some yellow
- Dial in for a #VirtualCuppa
- Take a snap of you or your team sharing a #VirtualCuppa
- Enjoy the AbbVie MHR Jerusalema Dance Video (And the bloopers)
- Donate to our fundraiser (all funds raised will be divided evenly between both charities)
