I’m going to be doing the Great North Run on 7th September and would love to raise some money for a group local to me and close to my heart. I’ve been involved with Seb & Olivia’s Den as a member of the committee since it was founded in 2016 and have seen first hand the difference it makes to so many children and their families.

Seb & Olivias Den was set up in 2016 in memory of two very special children, Seb Lewthwaite and Olivia Lyons, who loved attending sessions at Northburn Sports and Community centre in Cramlington. As an unincorporated association, the Den supports children and young people with SEN and disabilities and their families.

We have so far built a Sensory Room, Tasos Ball Pool and a memory garden to remember special people in our community. We continue to support specialist weekly sessions of Northburn Freestyle by providing resources and specialist equipment, along with arranging inclusive and accessible activities/experiences for our families to enjoy in a relaxed, supportive and non-judgemental environment.
