Hello, my name is Abadullah Mustafa. I am a 12th grader at Thomas Edison High School, Alexandria, and a Life Scout in Troop 993. As I work towards my goal of becoming an Eagle Scout, the most important part of my journey is coming close: my Eagle Scout project, which will benefit the Nativity Church. For my project, we will be restoring a meditation trail on the grounds of the church. This trail is an important place in the community, as it is used not only by churchgoers but also by other adults and children within the neighborhood. The current condition of the trail leaves it unsuitable for use, which is a shame due to its importance. The restoration process will consist of removing the old landscape timbers and dirt and placing fresh timbers and mulch in their place. We will also extend the trail by 30 feet so that it meets the church's sidewalk, which will improve access. To carry out my project, I will be soliciting donations to fund the cost of materials, tools, and other equipment needed to complete the project. Any donations would be greatly appreciated, as Nativity is truly a pillar of the community. Any excess funds raised will be donated directly to Nativity for use as they see fit. Thank you
