Well Project

Hello, my name is Marissa Druken. Last May I had the honour of going to Tanzania, Africa to help build a school. While in Tanzania, I went on the “WATER WALK” with the local women. They travel 2 km’s each way, 12 times a day, to get water for their village. A teacher, who still keeps in contact with the local priest, informed me that after a year long drought they need a well desperately. I am carrying a 43lb jug of water on my head to raise money to build that well. I am carring this jug of water from classroom to classroom all day. l made bracelets to sell as well as selling chocolate bars. I am determined to carry the jug of water until I raise enough money for this well. Please donate to this tremendous cause. Thank You very much! Asante Sana! (as they say in Tanzania)
