Hi, My name is Sunny Tripathy and I am part of the TEAM program at Archie Williams High school. TEAM is an outdoor leadership program integrated into the school. It includes backpacking to the Sierra Nevada and Joshua Tree, as well as mentee to mentor cohort leadership, and even rock climbing! TEAM also includes career based internships and wilderness medicine class, where students learn everything there is to know about treating injured in the wild.

TEAM is a fully self-funded program, meaning our few teachers and us students are completely responsible for coming up with enough money each year to fund our trips. The budget goes to wilderness guides, backpacking permits, van rentals for transportation, gear and gear repair, food for trips, and much more

I am a senior in TEAM, and after 2 years of being in this program, I have changed so much. I have gained so much confidence, I have developed leadership skills that I will use for the rest of my life, I found my community and second family, and made lasting memories that I will cherish.

Please help me and my classmates keep TEAM running for years to come. Anything helps.
