Hi, I'm Aaron. For my bar mitzvah project, I am choosing to make bags of fidget toys for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

I am calling this project Aaron’s Fidget Factory.

If you don’t know, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta serves pediatric patients from both Atlanta and all around the country. I am doing this project because I feel like I get bored easily, and I can’t even imagine how bored I would be in the hospital. So, I’m going to hand out mini fidget bags to kids who are in the hospital beds all day.

I especially want to help kids who are in the hospital for an extended period of time. For example, kids with cystic fibrosis average around 10 to 24 days in the hospital! Even for kids who are there for a shorter period of time, I know it must be hard for them to be stuck inside with nothing to do. One small act of kindness may help make their day a little brighter.
