Camp international trip to Kenya

Hi, my name is Emilee, I am 15yrd old and I am trying to raise money for a month long trip to Kenya through camp international

This will take place next summer, date is to be confirmed, but this will be during August 2025

Along the way I will be involved in things like..

*Collecting rubbish from beaches and recycling this into eco-art

*Cleaning beaches to protect nesting turtles

'digging water holes for elephants

*planting food trees for orangutans

*Building classrooms to improve access to much needed education over there

*building new homes for vulnerable people

As well as experiencing things I never thought I'd ever get the chance to such as...

*mountain trekking

*jungle trekking

*wildlife watching

*experiencing new cultures

*enhancing my cv for my future

The above is as well as visiting many different places including..

*Latin America

*Asia

Africa

The trip itself is over £4000 which I know sounds alot, but it really is a once in a life time opportunity for me to experience something like this.

I feel like I could go there and really bond with people living in the community, I've spent alot of my own free time volunteering and helping young children here by way of helping with school transitions and young leader gymnastics coaching, I believe I have gained lots of experience and skills over the years by giving my own time up and would take all my experience and knowledge over to Kenya

Me and my mom have been sorting things out to sell at table top sales, and looking around at home for what we can sell to help raise the money, but I am hoping that this will help to raise the majority of the funds needed

I have been selling my unwanted items on vinted to raise some money and my mom has also written to many many places and companies to try and get either a little money towards this trip, or a sponsorship, unfortunately not one company has offered to help.

I would be so grateful if anyone would be willing to donate to help with this opportunity for me, even £1, £2, £5... Anything anyone is able to donate I would be really appreciative.

Can I also ask if people can share my go fund me anywhere they can please, we don't know many people, so would really appreciate it being passed around by people who may know people who may want to help

If people are unable to donate then even a share would be a huge help
