As a mother, my first responsibility is keeping my children safe and at peace. Right now, that means taking immediate steps to start over.

My marriage has come to a sudden and painful end, and my children and I are in the middle of a time-sensitive transition. There are legal and moving expenses that must be handled quickly in order for us to secure a permanent home and move forward without interruption. We currently have a safe home and living situation, but to move forward on our own, it’ll require a little help.

I am doing everything in my power to create a peaceful place of our own where my children can rest, heal, and feel secure—but the financial weight of this moment is more than I can carry alone. Asking for help is incredibly difficult, yet providing safety and stability for my children must come first.

Funds raised will be used for:

• Immediate legal expenses related to custody and protection

• Urgent moving and housing costs to get into a home of our own.
