We are the McGrann Family- Ben, Lauren, Jules, and Handsome, and we are actively working towards growing our family through Infant Domestic Adoption! 
Adoption has been a dream of ours for years and we are so excited to be taking steps to bring home our next baby. 
BUT....we need some help!
DID YOU KNOW?
Adoptions, both domestic and international, cost an average of $40,000 for EACH adopted child?          YIKES!

Where does all that money go?
-application fees 
-legal fees
-birth parent/baby medical expenses
-adoption agency fees
-home study fees
-state and federal clearances

NOT INCLUDED IN THE $40,000 average cost of adoption:
-travel fees/ living expenses for our family when we go meet and bring home our baby
-unpaid work leave as mom stays home with the new baby for 8-12 weeks

Our fundraising goal of $10,000 will go towards:
- Adoption agency fees
- Home study completion fees
- and our ACTIVATION FEE which allows our profile to be submitted to birth parents looking for a loving home for their baby!

****As we considered ways to come up with the money needed to fulfill this dream, we have really wrested with the idea of fundraising. It feels uncomfortable to ask for money to build our family! Through the love and encouragement we have already received from friends and family, we are taking this step in faith and inviting you to join us as we build our family. Your support whether monetary or in prayer means the world to us!!!!
