Help With Scam Recovery Loss
Donation protected
Hi everyone, I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your help.
Today, my family experienced something truly devastating. Scammers targeted my grandfather and cousin, stealing a large sum of money through a cruel scheme. They called my grandfather pretending that his grandson had been arrested and needed bail money. Out of love and deep care, my cousin and grandfather did everything they could to help—only to find out it was a scam.
My grandfather has worked his entire life to provide for his family. He immigrated from Mexico at a young age, leaving school in elementary grades to work and help support his family. For years, he’s worked humbly and tirelessly as a janitor at Mountain View Community College. Last year, he suffered the heartbreaking loss of his wife.
My cousin, too, is someone who has spent his life in service to others. He put himself through pharmaceutical school after losing his father in high school, and he’s dedicated to helping people better understand their medications to prevent harm and save lives.
This was a devastating financial blow to them—something they didn’t deserve. Sadly, the Dallas Police Department has not been able to help recover the funds. That’s why I’m here today, humbly asking for your support.
If you’re able, please consider donating whatever you can to help them recover from this loss. Even if you can’t give, sharing this with others who might be able to help would mean the world to us. If you would prefer to call Rufino, and donate that way please do so!
Thank you for reading and for your kindness. Anything helps.
