To all of our family & friends-

My name is Lauren and I am asking for help for my brother Jordan, his girlfriend Jessica & their dog- Kona ❤️ Our family has been going through an incredibly tough time. Over the last few weeks, life has thrown one challenge after another our way. While my brother has been selflessly caring for our aunt—who was suddenly hospitalized and required an emergency cardiac procedure— there has been hours and days on end that Myself, Jordan, & Jessica spent up and back to the hospital.

Tragically, while they weren’t home, Kona got into something dangerous and had to be rushed to Pet ER for life-saving emergency surgery. The procedure was critical, and while the vet team did everything they could, Kona is still in the animal hospital under close watch. The medical bills are already high (as all pet owners know how much emergency veterinary bills are) and continue to rise daily with ongoing treatment and recovery.

Kona has been by my brother & Jessica’s side through thick and thin, offering love, comfort, and emotional support through some of the hardest seasons of life (as only dogs can do). Watching him suffer while also trying to stay strong for our aunt and keep everything afloat has stretched my brother & Jessica beyond belief. My heart breaks for them knowing this happened during a time our family was already under so much stress caring for our aunt. And for those of you who truly know Jordan & I, know that our aunt is our world.
