As many of you know, my dear friend Rebecca Blanton lost her battle with cancer on June, 1 2024. She fought as hard as anyone possibly could, and faced it all with grit, determination and a smile on her face.
Rebecca loved hard and she loved big. Her beautiful smile radiated a whole room, and her sense of humor was ever present even on the toughest of days.
Through everything Rebecca remained a pillar in our community. By building one successful youth program after another, she was able to positively affect so many lives and families in our community and beyond. Her love and never ending passion for children and her vast knowledge of child development led her to develop and implement before school programs, after school programs, track out camps and multiple summer day camps throughout our area. These programs have served hundreds of families throughout the years and will continue to do so for years to come.
Rebecca was a once in a lifetime type of friend. The kind of friend who makes you laugh, who listened, who was there for you even on her hardest of days.
But most importantly, she was a wife to her loving husband Taylor and a Momma to 3 of the sweetest and kindest children you’ll ever meet, not to mention the cutest.
Although Rebecca is no longer physically with us, her legacy and spirit live on through her family and it is during this most difficult time that I am asking you to rally behind them through words of support, love and kindness.
The funds raised in this GoFundMe will help Taylor and their children navigate through this time of grief and into the future and will help
offset the costs and the stresses on Taylor and the family.
They will be able to bravely continue without the stress of shouldering all of the financial burdens that come along with this difficult chapter and its challenges.
