I’m sitting here writing this short extract for a well loved woman in our community, and gone blank for words. Please bear with me as I take you on a brief journey.
Know that this is created with absoulte love, and at no request by Tess as she is extremely reluctant to ask for help. Not once has she played the 'victim' in her situation. Each and every day she puts one foot in front of the other to protect her young children and herself.
This lady gives her heart and soul daily to our community. She photographs and captures moments in our lives and our children’s lives that we cherish now, and that we will always cherish for a lifetime. Now it's her turn to recieve the love back
Just over 5 weeks ago, in the early hours of the morning, in her own home where she lives with her 2 young children, Tess was physically beaten, choked and repeatedly threatened with being killed. All the while she had her 2 yr old son in her arms and her five year old crying in the bedroom.
The ripple effect is not only the huge emotional & psychological trauma on her and in particular her young kids, but also financial. Tess now has to engage lawyers to try to ensure his choices & actions don’t dramatically impact her and her kids’ futures, regarding safety and financials.
I'm asking for us, as a community, to come together, to assist this beautiful soul by easing the financial burden associated with legal fees and lawyers, To hopefully lessen one of the many stresses she’s currently facing.
