Baby Asher
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Caitlin and I am fundraising for the Armas family. Bre woke up on Thursday, February 22nd early in the morning having contractions. She was just 28 weeks pregnant. Justin and Bre rushed to the hospital thinking they were going to be able to stop the contractions, but much to their surprise Asher was ready to meet his mommy and daddy. They were unable to stop labor because Bre had a partial abruption. By the grace of God Asher was delivered safely and rushed to the NICU. He is a fighter and is doing as well as he can be doing right now. He has a long stay in the NICU ahead of him, as his due date was mid-May. All of this came as such a surprise. Justin and Bre still have a lot to get ready for the baby, and their efforts are focused on spending as much time with Asher as they can. Bre is unable to work until after Asher comes home from the hospital, as she is pumping every 3 hours and doing skin-to-skin as often as she can. Justin is finishing up school and will be done in May. In order to spend as much time with Asher and finish school on time, he is taking a leave from work. I am starting a gofundme in hopes of taking some of the financial burden off of Justin and Bre as they navigate this stressful time. If you feel led, please consider giving. If you are unable to give, please keep the Armas family in your prayers.
