Help my neighbor not get evicted

Sandy has been our neighbor for nearly 10 years, and has helped us out immensely. Even though she's often in the same financial struggle we are, she has always been there for us, offering us her money, transportation, time, and support. She comes by it naturally, as she also lives with and takes care of her elderly mother, who is disabled. She recently lost her job, and has been going to job interviews almost daily, but hasn't had any luck. Right now she needs at least $500 by September 15th, or she and her mother will be evicted. They would have absolutely nowhere to go. We want to give back what she's done for us by raising the money for her rent so they can stay under a roof.
