La comunità scout di Castel San Pietro Terme è in crescita e ad Ottobre del 2024, abbiamo creato il secondo gruppo scout.

Abbiamo bisogno di te, per costruire la nostra nuova casa, per poter ospitare il nostro nuovo gruppo e le oltre 100 persone, fra bambini e ragazzi, che ne fanno parte. Le donazioni ricevute, verranno interamente devolute al sostenimento delle spese passate e future per la costruzione della nuova sede.

Ciao, mi chiamo Riccardo. Sono un capo scout AGESCI di Castel San Pietro Terme, un comune nella provincia di Bologna. L’AGESCI è una delle associazioni di volontariato più grande d'Italia con oltre 180'000 scout. Il nostro compito si estende in tantissimi ambiti, dalla protezione civile, dalla cura dell'ambiente e del territorio, dal servizio verso il prossimo. Ci siamo sempre sporcati le mani sul campo, mettendoci sempre la faccia, le braccia e il cuore.

Il nostro gruppo scout, il Castel San Pietro 1, da oltre 40 anni lavora nel territorio del nostro comune per i ragazzi e le ragazze di ogni età, fra i 5 e i 21 anni, affinché possano vivere al 100% i valori dello scautismo. Per noi l’educazione dei più piccoli è al primo posto, cercando sempre di guardare al loro futuro affinché possano:

• Riuscire a comprendere il valore della natura in ogni sua forma ed essere consci della sua importanza e meraviglia.

• Diventare cittadini e cittadine attivi ed attive e dei punti di riferimento per le loro future comunità.

• Affrontare ogni difficoltà che incontreranno nella vita con il sorriso sul volto e con la consapevolezza che ogni fatica sarà affrontata "al proprio meglio"

Abbiamo cominciato girando per le strade del nostro comune, in cerca di persone che avessero voglia di buttarsi in questo mondo. Dopo 20 anni dalla nascita del gruppo, eravamo in abbastanza per rimboccaci le maniche per costruirci da zero una nuova casa. Chi era nel gruppo al tempo, lavorò molto duramente, anche ritagliando del tempo prezioso dalla propria vita familiare e lavorativa. Con anni e anni di sforzi, siamo riusciti a costruire una nuova sede bellissima, figlia di grandissimi sacrifici.

La sede fu costruita per contenerci quando eravamo ancora pochi e chi se lo sarebbe immaginato 20 anni fa, che ora il nostro gruppo avrebbe contato oltre 250 persone, fra ragazzi, ragazze e capi!! Quest'anno, vista l’importante crescita, abbiamo realizzato uno dei nostri sogni storici...abbiamo aperto un secondo gruppo scout!!

Per un comune come il nostro, avere due gruppi scout è sicuramente una cosa incredibile e infatti i due gruppi sono in continua crescita di anno in anno. Persino dai comuni intorno a noi, continuano ad entrare nuovi bambini e ragazzi di ogni età. Alla nostra comunità abbiamo sempre dato molto ed è nostra intenzione in futuro continuare così.

A 20 anni dalla costruzione la nostra casa non ci contiene più e ci stiamo di nuovo rimboccando le maniche per costruire una casa per il gruppo appena nato. Stiamo lavorando tantissimo da diversi anni, ma i nostri sforzi da soli, purtroppo non bastano. I tempi sono diversi, rispetto a 20 anni fa. Le cose costano molto di più e la nostra vita è diventata più frenetica e complicata. Ogni euro ricevuto, sarà utilizzato per le spese di costruzione: l’acquisto di materiali, la manodopera e le spese burocratiche per i lavori e i controlli. Una volta raggiunto l'obbiettivo, i soldi saranno immediatamente trasferiti sul conto corrente del nostro gruppo e utilizzati per le spese edili (manodopera e materiali) già sostenute e da sostenere.

L'importo totale della campagna è di 200'000 euro, che copriranno una grossissima fetta delle spese totali, ma ogni contributo, anche il più piccolo, conta tantissimo per la nostra comunità.

The scout community of Castel San Pietro Terme is growing, and in October 2024, we established our second scout group.

We need your help to build our new home, a place to host our new group and the over 100 children and young people who are part of it. All donations received will be entirely devoted to covering past and future expenses for the construction of the new headquarters.

Hi, my name is Riccardo. I am a scout leader with AGESCI in Castel San Pietro Terme, a town in the province of Bologna. AGESCI is one of the largest volunteer associations in Italy, with over 180,000 scouts. Our work spans many areas, from civil protection to environmental care and community service. We have always rolled up our sleeves and gotten our hands dirty, putting our faces, arms, and hearts into everything we do.

Our scout group, Castel San Pietro 1, has been active in our community for over 40 years, working with boys and girls aged 5 to 21, helping them fully embrace the values of scouting. For us, the education of young people is our top priority, always looking toward their future so they can:

• Understand the value of nature in all its forms and be aware of its importance and wonder.

• Become active citizens and role models for their future communities.

• Face every challenge in life with a smile and the awareness that every effort will be tackled "to the best of their ability."

We started by walking through the streets of our town, looking for people who wanted to dive into this world. Twenty years after the group was founded, we had enough members to roll up our sleeves and build a new home from scratch. Those who were part of the group at the time worked incredibly hard, even carving out precious time from their family and work lives. After years of effort, we managed to build a beautiful new headquarters, the result of immense sacrifices.

The headquarters was built to accommodate us when we were still a small group, and who could have imagined 20 years ago that our group would now include over 250 people, including scouts and leaders?! This year, given our significant growth, we realized one of our long-standing dreams... we opened a second scout group!!

For a town like ours, having two scout groups is truly incredible, and indeed, both groups continue to grow year after year. Even from the surrounding towns, new children and young people of all ages keep joining. We have always given a lot to our community, and it is our intention to continue doing so in the future.

Twenty years after its construction, our home can no longer contain us, and we are once again rolling up our sleeves to build a home for the newly formed group. We have been working incredibly hard for several years, but unfortunately, our efforts alone are not enough. Times have changed compared to 20 years ago. Things cost much more, and our lives have become more hectic and complicated. Every euro received will be used for construction expenses: purchasing materials, labor, and bureaucratic costs for the work and inspections. Once the goal is reached, the funds will be immediately transferred to our group's bank account and used for construction expenses (labor and materials) already incurred and those yet to come.

The total goal of the campaign is €200,000, which will cover a significant portion of the total expenses, but every contribution, no matter how small, means so much to our community.
