Who we are: Adult psychiatric unit operating inside of Oakland, CA's public hospital, which provides a safe, supportive, and therapeutic day treatment program for local residents living with severe mental illness. Our program serves residents of northern Alameda county and specializes in treating adult schizophrenia, major depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, grief and loss, and PTSD.

The need: During the holiday season our clients are faced with adversity. The majority of our clients are disabled and living only on an income of SSl. The income they receive on a monthly basis is only enough to cover their basic needs, and they often struggle to make ends meet. Each year, our program provides each client with a little gift to bring them cheer in their hearts and ease the stress of the holiday season. Client's major request are jackets, blankets, shoes, and pants.

Our ask: Any dollar amount that we receive will go towards the clients gifts for this holiday season. Please help us bring cheer this holiday season.
