Bring Hope through Adoption

My life changed forever a year ago. I went on a missions trip and met a then 14year old girl. Our bond was almost instantaneous. We noticed each other but did not speak. I inquired about her story and learned that she had been abandoned by her family when she was younger. My heart broke as Iearned all she wanted was a mother's love. I have mothered many nieces and nephews. I have 8 godchildren of my own. I have often thought about adopting but never took any steps towards making it happen. Recently I asked God, "why have you given me this great capacity to love? Well, God has heard my prayer and given me an answer! We spoke for the first time 2 months after I returned home. I will never forget her first words to me, "hello mommy". My heart exploded with joy! I returned when my "daughter to be" was turning 15 to give her and the other girls who turned 15 in the home, a party they would always remember. Thirty-four dresses (all donated prom dresses), shoes , hair styles, maicure & pedicure, make-up, plus gifts for all. We had a great time! We now speak 1-2 times per week and we are both anxious to be together. I want "officially" to be her mother and she wants to be my daughter. I look forward to experiencing all the "teenage stuff" life has to offer us but I need your help. The cost of adoption is really high. Will you help bring us together!
