A woman who is sole Caretaker of her Schizophrenic brother -

Hello Fellow Humans - I am trying to raise funds for a dear childhood friend, who has truly been dealt a rough hand throughout the last 20 years or so of her life.

When her grandmother passed, who was the caretaker of my friend's schizophrenic brother, my friend became his sole caretaker. Shortly after that, my friend's father died of aggressive cancer, and she used his life insurance money to buy a home for her and her brother (fully paid for) so that she could ensure their shelter and safety.

They are in an area of Pennsylvania where resources are very limited, and they have fallen behind on their property taxes due to a lack of income and resources. My friend was working remotely but lost her job due to the business closing (owner "retiring" basically) and must be able to work remotely because of her brother who needs full-time supervision and care.

With resource agencies experiencing an overburden of rising needs, if they cannot get some help, they may be evicted from their home, even though it is paid off. My friend has a court date in October, and we are trying to pull together some funds from friends, family, and anyone who may be willing to give any amount to help. Literally every bit helps to add up to what we need. Even if you can only spare $10 or $20, please consider helping my friend if you are able.
