update: a big water tank will be bought with the proceeds, it will be near a school, mosque and community village. It will have multiple faucets and can be used for 100+ people

Assalamu Alaikum and Hello,

I am raising funds to build a water well for my late father as a form of Sadaqah Jariyah (continuous charity).

This well will provide clean drinking water for 50+ people everyday in Bangladesh. The well will include an electric pump and a backup hand pump, ensuring reliable access to free water for 10-15 years, helping improve health and daily life for the families who rely on it. Once completed, we will receive photos, videos, and the exact location of the well.

My Abbu...

My Abbu was one of the most caring and generous people I've known, even with the little he had, he would always give so much. Unfortunately, me and my family didn't get a chance to be there with him or say a proper goodbye, as the passing was unexpected. In many ways, building this well in his name feels like the final goodbye I never had the chance to give.

Doing this in his name is my way of giving back for everything he did for us. I had so many dreams I wanted to fulfill of one day giving him everything he never had in this world, but I never got the chance. Building this well is the greatest act of love I can now do for him. I miss him every day, and although nothing can ever repay what he gave me in this life, InshaAllah this will benefit him in something far greater than this dunya (world), which is his akhirah (afterlife). I can only imagine the smile he would have had if he could see something like this being done in his name.

By helping build this well in my Abbu's name, every drop of water that benefits someone can become a continuous source of blessings & reward for him in the afterlife, while also providing life changing clean water to families in need.
