My name is Chelsea,

Wife of Paul Schwab, who is currently in the process of being medically released because of PTSD, so already dealing with huge emotions and hard days, of course.

He recently severely broke his dominate hand, leaving him unable to do most of the things he would normally do.

He's in for surgery, as I type this.

attempt #1 at repairing the bones.

I’m still in physio for a dislocated shoulder from a car accident last year, so there’s very little that he does that I can pick up in place of him.

Recovery is expected to be 8-12 weeks, plus physio.

We will be paying for multiple people for a few months, to shovel, drive, pick up groceries, house clean, carry laundry, fold laundry, getting back and forth from the hospital, Me taking time off working, babysitter/nanny and other maintenance we may need for when I am working/he’s got appointments. We have access to help in various ways but they all cost money, and we don’t have much of a savings right now.

This is all going to add up VERY quickly and we just don’t have it.

All of this, right before Christmas when we’re already in a financially demanding holiday.

Paul is the one that always helps EVERYONE and thing.

I think it’s time he finally ask for help. <3
