<div>He's in for surgery, as I type this.

<div>attempt #1 at repairing the bones.

<div>I’m still in physio for a dislocated shoulder from a car accident last year, so there’s very little that he does that I can pick up in place of him.

<div>Recovery is expected to be 8-12 weeks, plus physio.
</div>

<div>We will be paying for multiple people for a few months, to shovel, drive, pick up groceries, house clean, carry laundry, fold laundry, getting back and forth from the hospital, Me taking time off working, babysitter/nanny and other maintenance we may need for when I am working/he’s got appointments. We have access to help in various ways but they all cost money, and we don’t have much of a savings right now.

<div>This is all going to add up VERY quickly and we just don’t have it.
