A Merry Maverick Christmas

The Christmas Season is quickly approaching, and with this time also comes Maverick’s first birthday on Dec 18th & our second Christmas without him. Since we do not have the joy of buying our baby his First Birthday presents or Christmas gifts this year, Eric and I have decided to take our tough season and help spread holiday cheer to children from families in need & purchase items from their Christmas lists.

We would love to be able to help as many families as we can in Maverick’s name. We are just putting this out there in case anyone would also like to help his cause, or if you were looking for a way to help out this Holiday Season. We know this time of year is tough for everyone, but any amount will help spread some joy & all money raised will be used to directly purchase toys for children in our local area.

We will be using the avenues of Angel Trees through Our Lady Star of the Sea & Calvert County, as well as SMILE, located in Lusby for lists from local families. Names will be given Thanksgiving weekend, but toys will be purchased & collected through the middle of December, so this will be an ongoing effort throughout the season.
