Help a true community hero recover legal expenses
Donation protected
I am seeking support for a true community hero, Rhonda Feuz, who has gone above and beyond to protect the children of Utah. Her story is one of extraordinary courage and selflessness.
Rhonda took a stand when a convicted sex offender repeatedly visited the children’s park in her HOA. There was a loophole in Utah law that allowed this individual to enter private parks. Rhonda’s relentless efforts ensured the safety of her neighborhood and led to a change in Utah law. Her actions have protected countless children and provided a sense of security to many families.
However, Rhonda's bravery came at a significant personal cost. The sex offender, in a final act of spite, filed a frivolous lawsuit against Rhonda, accusing her of defamation. Although Rhonda successfully defended herself and the lawsuit was dismissed, she incurred over $70,000 in legal expenses. Tragically, the sex offender later took his own life to avoid returning to jail, leaving Rhonda with no means to recoup her costs.
Rhonda’s tireless dedication has made a lasting impact on our community and members of my family, who are victims of this sex offender. Rhonda’s actions have given them a sense of justice and protection. Her efforts have also strengthened the safeguards for all children in Utah.
Now, it is our turn to support Rhonda. We are asking for donations to help her recover the legal expenses she incurred while defending our community. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a difference.
Please consider donating to this cause and sharing Rhonda’s story with others. Together, we can show our appreciation for her invaluable service and help alleviate the financial burden she has shouldered alone.
