A Trike for Charlie: Opening the World Beyond the iPAD
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Ryan, and I’m raising funds to help my amazing 11-year-old daughter, Charlie.
Charlie is a bright, funny, and loving girl who lives with Level 3 Autism. Like many kids her age, she loves her iPad—but we’re trying to create more ways for her to enjoy the outdoors, connect with the world around her, and build her confidence through new experiences.
Due to her disability, Charlie has struggled to learn how to ride a bike. Her low muscle tone, low bone density, and coordination challenges have made traditional bikes too difficult and unsafe for her. But recently, we found a special needs electric trike—the Addmotor Soletri M-366X Full-Suspension eTrike—that would allow a second person to assist her and help her safely experience the joy and freedom of riding.
This trike would do more than just get her outside. It would:
• Improve her physical strength and coordination
• Build her confidence and independence
• Give her a fun and safe way to bond with family
• Support her sensory needs and overall mental health
Unfortunately, these specially designed trikes are expensive and not covered by disability support programs. That’s why we’re reaching out to our friends, family, and community.
With your help, we can give Charlie the chance to experience a part of childhood that most of us take for granted. Every donation, big or small, brings us closer to that goal.
Thank you so much for your kindness and support.
With gratitude,
The Catterall family
