My name is Craig Topham and I am the world's most* famous plicyklist. Plicykling** is the art of picking up litter while riding a bicycle - without slowing down or stopping! Although this description is all you need to know, seeing it in action is an entirely different experience. Please watch at least one video and you will understand what I mean. Visit https://plicykling.org.

* If there is another, I am waiting, and I have been searching.

** plicykling is a combination of picking up litter and bicycling
merging the Swedish verbs plocka upp (pick up) with cykling
(bicycling) giving us the new Swedish verb plicykling, a take off of
the portmanteau plogging (picking up while jogging).

Not only does plicykling get litter off the streets and bike paths, it is effectively a random act of kindness machine that when people see it in action, _and_ understand what is happening, their inner light shines a little brighter. I am convinced that is something the world needs right now.

I have been plicykling for over 12 years and for the last two years I have been traveling city to city in the USA and in Europe plicykling along the way. My goal is to make plicykling popular, especially among bicycle commuters. I have given a workshop for the City of Boston's BAT
https://www.boston.gov/departments/diversity/bicycle-active-transportation-group and I recently gave a talk-only version at the New Yorker Hotel, NY for the Hackers On Planet Earth conference:

However, traveling city to city with a bicycle is challenging and expensive(especially with airplanes). Traveling by train is manageable, but can be a hassle. What this project needs is a tour bus! If I had a vehicle I could travel city to city promoting plicykling and with a traveling bike shop in the back, I'm certain to be of service at bicycle events and community bike repair workshops.

But wait there's more!!

I'm also a computer user freedom activist. Computer user freedom is when the user controls their own computing by using free software. Although this may be the first time hearing about this, the free software movement is over 40 years old and free software is ubiquitous in our everyday lives.

The tour bus would also have an inventory of free software materials/merchandise to distribute at various conferences, user groups, and other organizations throughout the USA.

Both plicykling and free software are both positive movements for a better tomorrow. Help me give them a boost by helping me with the acquisition of a tour bus. It is not something that needs to be lived in. Picture a food truck, but instead of selling delicious food, we'll be handing out free software stickers and operating a bike shop out of the back.
